OutRival announced a dedicated travel vertical on August 3, 2026, appointing Jeff Herzfeld as Head of Travel. He will lead industry strategy, partnerships and commercial growth for the company’s travel business.
Herzfeld brings more than two decades of commercial leadership experience, including work with Carnival, Royal Caribbean Group, MSC Cruises, Virgin Voyages and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
The travel offering serves cruise operators, hotels, resorts, tour companies and agencies. Digital workers can support conversations across voice, text, voicemail, email and chat while connecting with the systems a business already uses.
Applications highlighted in the announcement include reconnecting with older leads, following up on abandoned bookings, helping with reservations and supporting loyalty programs. The same approach extends to communication before arrival and after a trip, helping operators maintain contact throughout the traveler relationship.
